ABOUT TONY PHILLIPS

Tony Phillips is a PADI-certified advanced open water diver and journalist who splits his time between Manhattan and Fort Lauderdale, but by far his favorite role is that of “Uncle Lady” to a seven-year-old French Bulldog named Jasper.

Tony recently completed the prestigious Goldring Fellowship at Syracuse University's Newhouse School and has written for national publications like Out Magazine, The Village Voice and New York Magazine.

For the last decade, he has been a regular Arts & Culture contributor to the Penguin Random House website Signature and is hard at work on his second book.
